TomoPlus New Features and Fixes:

This release was made on May 16, 2013
TomoPlus v5.5 release includes the following major features:
  • More efficient handling of multi-file projects
  • Improved handling of marine datasets
  • More options in early-arrival waveform tomography (FWI)  
  • More flexibility in comparing 3D velocity models
  • Improved data-based residual statics
Detailed changes in TomoPlus v5.5:

1) More options for checking IDs and setting unique IDs when building project
2) For multi-file projects, all shots and receivers will be displayed at once on Shot-Receiver (SR) Map
3) QCs can be performed as one dataset on the SR Map for multi-file projects
4) Added ability to display shot and receiver elevations on SR Map

1) Added option to apply elevation statics correction internally within automatic first break pickers
2) Added ability to add and save user comments to a workflow
3) Improved efficiency in handling of large .gtt files in interactive flow (ie. FBHDR, FBDYN, FBVIB)

1) Improved handling of marine datasets (water layer can now be 1 cell)
2) Allow more than one traveltime tomography job to be run at same time
3) Improved efficiency of early-arrival waveform tomography with more diagnostics
4) Choice of modeling vertical velocity component or pressure component in early-arrival waveform tomography
5) Updated 2D and 3D wave-equation traveltime tomography

1) Added ability to compare multiple models
2) Allow user to flip between ray-density and velocity model, and to adjust transparency of models
